My Approach: Warm, Welcoming, Caring

I am here to help you get to where you want to be in your life, relationships and business. I find that most people have a sense of where they want to be and where they don’t. My approach is to help you put these ideas in the middle of the room and turn them to see the different facets. The ultimate goal is for you to pick a side and develop a plan to make it real for you.

Helping You Navigate Through Life

You have no doubt heard about mind/body/spiritual strategies and about the need to be in balance. I think we can take a look at these ideas and develop a plan that uses the right realm or strength for the job. Sometimes lack of changes in chronic conditions is a result of focusing on the wrong tool for the job. I can help you keep the in balance by using the right strengths to finally effectively make needed positive changes.

Older Adult and Caregiver Support

Mental illness and aging can often be a double stigma. There are more than 6 million Americans 85 and older. The number of Americans 85 and older will triple by the year 2050, when the youngest baby boomers turn 86.Older adults and care partners are less likely to identify a problem as a symptom of a mental health disorder. Furthermore, older adults have high rates of late onset mental health disorders (anxiety/depression) and low rates of identification and treatment. Even “mild” mental illness symptoms can have catastrophic consequences in vulnerable older adults. I have experience and training helping older adults and their care givers recognize early warning signs and developing support and support plans. Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression

I am one of the few private practice clinicians with expertise in and a dedication to helping individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses such as, psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar, major depressive disorder.

Inexperienced helpers often can’t provide the broader range of support needed by people experiencing psychosis. Treatment needs are often misunderstood or helpers are often fearful, frustrated or unaware of the types of support and resources that are needed.

Individuals experiencing psychosis or severe mood swings need someone with experience, empathy, patience.

I can provide a comprehensive support plan that not only includes regular convenient sessions but also email and text support.
